Argentian DJ/producer Flug announces his debut for Rekids Special Projects
imprint with ‘Austral Flames’ landing this June.

Following releases on Nina Kraviz’s Trip, UNCAGE, and Suara, the Existentia boss brings his hard-hitting techno stylings to Radio Slave’s Rekids Special Projects, delivering three fast-paced, high-energy cuts for his first appearance on the label.

Demonstrating an innate knowledge of intensely lively and direct techno, Flug flexes his production muscles across the EP. ‘AR01 (Original Mix)’ sees constantly evolving FM tones and crisp drum machines interlink for the duration, winding through a series of additional percussive flair and eerie, hypnotic pads.

‘AR01 (Jacking Mix)’ flips the original mix on its head, introducing shuffling chopped breakbeats to the mixture alongside steady machine drones and FX hits. ‘AR02 (Original Mix)’ takes a deeper turn, with hypnotic, filtered hits and sizzling 909 kits taking the forefront, rounding out another impressive release from both Flug and Rekids Special Projects.
